This guitar is a really good instrument, better even than the LTD EC 1000 VB with Seymour Duncans. I have zero complains regarding this except for the dumbass racing stripe. Granted in real person is not that annoying but I think Yamaha should move away from the car/motorcycle aesthetics. I mostly play Thrash metal and this guitar slayes!

A good metal guitar that can be upgraded into a reliable workhorse. Don't see much difference between this and the EX- 401 series
