Yamaha SA2200

I am an experienced guitarist and an owner of Yamaha SA2200. The original review states, "Unfortunately, it doesn't come with more options for coil split or coil tapping." This is incorrect; this guitar does have a coil split mechanism, which is controlled by push/pull the two tone control knobs. By pulling up a knob, the pickup controlled by the knob is split into a single coil. So my versatility score is 75 versus the original 54.
It is important to point that the craftsmanship of this model is excellent. Yamaha produces low-price guitars in Indonesia, but high-price electronic and acoustic guitars are made in their Japanese factories, where the quality control procedures are really strict. Although Gibson CAN produce great guitars, unfortunately their products -- even most expensive series of Les Pauls -- often suffer from craftsmanship issues. You may need to return expensive guitars to the vendor immediately after they are delivered to you to claim factory defects. If you purchase Yamaha SA2200, it is likely that you find the same high quality reported by the original review.
